Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) has released the detailed notifications for the recruitment of Public Health Worker (PHW) and Field Worker (Male) under the “Malaria Mukt Gujarat Abhiyan-2026”. VMC Recruitment 2026 Education Criteria 

Post Name	Qualification
Public Health Worker (PHW)	Standard 12th Pass + Govt Recognized Sanitary Inspector (SI) Course OR Multi Purpose Health Worker (MPHW) Course. (For candidates with VMC Health Dept field experience: 10th Pass + SI/MPHW is acceptable). Computer Skill: CCC Basic Course Pass.
Field Worker (Male)	Minimum Standard 8 Pass. Skills: Must know how to ride a Bicycle (Selected candidates must use their own cycle for duty). Note: Only Male candidates can apply for Field Worker.

Public Health Worker (PHW) Merit system

• Education (Max 60): Based on percentage in 10th/12th/Graduate.
• Technical Course (Max 10): SI / MPHW Course.
• Computer Course (Max 5): Certificate/Diploma/Degree.
• Local Resident (Max 5): Vadodara City residents.
• Experience (Max 20): 4 to 20 marks based on years of service.
• COVID-19 VMC Work (Max 30): 30 Marks.

Field Worker (Male) Merit

• Education (Max 50):
  • 8th Pass: 05 Marks
  • 9th Pass: 10 Marks
  • 10th Pass: 20 Marks
  • 11th Pass: 30 Marks
  • 12th Pass: 40 Marks
  • Graduate: 50 Marks
• Experience (Max 40): 10 to 40 marks based on years of experience.
• Local Resident (Max 10): Vadodara City residents.
• Health Experience (Max 20): Health Sector (10 Marks) OR VMC Health Sector (20 Marks).
• COVID-19 VMC Work (Max 30): 30 Marks.
