VMC Recruitment 2026: Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) has announced an exciting employment opportunity for swimming experts and fitness enthusiasts. The Tourist Department of VMC is conducting a Walk-in Interview to recruit eligible candidates for the post of Lifeguard cum Trainer (Male / Female). This recruitment drive aims to fill 24 vacancies on a purely contractual basis for 11 months to manage the swimming pools across Vadodara city.

VMC Recruitment 2026 Education Criteria 

Post Name	Qualification
Lifeguard cum Trainer	Candidate must have passed S.S.C. (Class 10). Must be an Expert Swimmer. Must have experience in teaching all water sports/swimming techniques. Must possess knowledge of Life Saving Techniques (Rescuing a drowning person). Must know how to administer Artificial Respiration (CPR) and other first-aid procedures

VMC Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

• Document Verification: Checking of age, qualification, and experience proofs.
• Walk-in Interview: A face-to-face interaction with the selection committee.
• Swimming Practical Test: Candidates must demonstrate their swimming and rescue skills in the pool. (Bringing a Swimming Costume is mandatory).

1. Prepare your resume/bio-data highlighting your swimming experience.
2. Gather your original documents: School Leaving Certificate, SSC Marksheet, Experience Certificates, and Photo ID.
3. Make a set of Certified Copies (Self-attested photocopies) of all the documents.
4. Carry a recent Passport Size Photograph.
5. Mandatory: Do not forget to carry your Swimming Costume for the practical test.
6. Report to the venue mentioned below on 05 January 2026 at 02:00 PM.
