On behalf of the Gujarat State, nodal agency The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda,Vadodara , has released a notification on official website for the students who wants to do a Assistant Professor in Govt. College. The Application Form has started from 22 June 2026, and the candidates can apply till the 22 July 2026. GSET 2026 – Exam Pattern
The GSET 2026 examination will be conducted in offline (OMR-based) mode on a single day. It consists of two papers held in the same session. Both papers contain only objective-type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Each correct answer carries 2 marks. There is no negative marking for wrong answers.

GSET 2026 – Application Process (Two Mandatory Steps)

Pay Examination Fee (First)
The GSET 2026 application process is completed in two compulsory steps. Candidates MUST complete Step 1 (Fee Payment) before proceeding to Step 2 (Online Registration). Incomplete applications will be rejected.
- Visit the official GSET website: gujaratset.ac.in
- Click on the “Fee Payment” or “Pay Examination Fee” link on the homepage.
- Select your category and fill in the basic details required for fee payment.
- Pay the examination fee online through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI via the Easepay payment gateway.
- After successful payment, save and print the fee receipt. Note down theOrder NumberandPayment Reference ID (Easepay ID)— these are required for the next step.

Online Registration (After Fee Payment)
- Go to the official GSET website and click on “Apply Online” or “Candidate Login”.
- Login using your Order Number and Easepay Payment Reference ID from Step 1.
- Upload your scanned passport-size photograph in JPEG format (size: under 100 KB, coloured).
- Fill out the application form completely: personal details, educational qualification, category, subject, and preferred examination centre.
- Verify all filled details carefully. No changes will be permitted after submission.
- Submit the application form online and download / print a hard copy for future reference.
