The Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UKSSSC) has released the official recruitment notification (Advertisement No. 78/UKSSSC/2026) on 15 June 2026 to fill 398 Group C (Samuh G) vacancies in the subordinate courts (Civil Courts and Family Courts) functioning under the Honorable High Court of Uttarakhand, Nainital. These posts are spread across all 13 districts of Uttarakhand including Dehradun, Haridwar, Nainital, Udham Singh Nagar, Almora, Pauri Garhwal, Pithoragarh, Chamoli, Champawat, Bageshwar, Tehri, Rudraprayag, and Uttarkashi.
The 398 vacancies include 259 posts of Junior Assistant (Kanisth Sahayak) — 230 in Civil Courts and 29 in Family Courts — and 139 posts of Stenographer Grade-I / Personal Assistant — 128 in Civil Courts and 11 in Family Courts. Eligible graduates can apply online at sssc.uk.gov.in from 22 June 2026 to 6 July 2026. The tentative exam date is 23 August 2026.

In addition to the basic pay, selected candidates will also receive Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), medical benefits, leave encashment, pension, and Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) as per Uttarakhand Government rules under the 7th Pay Commission.

How to Apply Online for UKSSSC High Court Recruitment 2026
- Visit the official UKSSSC website: sssc.uk.gov.in and click on the recruitment notification link for Advt. No. 78/UKSSSC/2026.
- Click on “Apply Online” or “New Registration” and register using a unique mobile number and email ID. Each mobile number and email ID can be used for only one registration.
- Fill in your personal details (name, date of birth, category, gender, nationality) accurately. These details are critical and will be verified later.
- Enter your educational qualification, category, and select up to three preferred districts in order of priority. Note: District preference cannot be changed after submission.
- Upload scanned copies of your Passport Size Photograph, Signature, and Left Thumb Impression as per the specified size and format mentioned in the notification.
- Pay the application fee online as per your category (General/OBC: Rs. 300 | SC/ST/EWS/PwD: Rs. 150 | Orphan: No fee) via Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
- After successful payment, review the entire application carefully before final submission. Check all entered details thoroughly.
- Submit the application form and download the final submitted form. Take a printout for personal records. You do not need to send it to the Commission at this stage.
- Use the Application Correction Window from 8 July to 10 July 2026 if you need to correct any details (Name, Photo, Category, and District Preference cannot be changed).
